Family Front Mission

At Family Front we have a passion for helping families succeed within the walls of their own home. We believe parents are naturally the most powerful agents of change and should be the fundamental anchors in a child's life. We state firmly that the vast majority of parents, with the right knowledge, skills, and support, can strengthen and maintain their families.

We believe in providing the right "dosage" of support. Rather than a one-size-fits all mentality, we strive to give parents and teens just what they need... and nothing more. If parents can succeed with having just our on-line education and Parent2Parent forum, that's the level of support we give them. If they need our coaching assistance added to the self applied tools, we stand ready to assist at that level. In cases where more intensive intervention is needed, such as providing in-home professional support, or in extreme cases, placing the teen in a treatment program, we are prepared to aid at these levels.

In all cases, we help families develop a support system made up of others who may be in a similar circumstance but may be further along in the journey, who can mentor and help. We facilitate a coming together of the family's natural support system by bringing extended family, neighbors, clergy, coaches, positive peers, and friends together to provide support to a family trying to make a change. We call this group the "Home Team" because it's a team of people who are invested, are focusing on one particular home and will be there to lend a hand for years to come.

In the end, our mission is simply this: to empower parents and help their teens to succeed in the journey of moving from adolescence to adulthood, creating life long connections to each other and to their support systems so that together they can manage the transitions inherent in family life.
