Privacy Policy

Introduction

Family Front is an online community that provides its members with access to family and parenting information, forum discussions, and to optional coaching services.

We are committed to fair information practices and we respect the privacy and security of our users. Our goal is to provide you with a personalized Internet experience that delivers information, resources, and services that are most relevant and helpful to you. In order to achieve this goal, we sometimes collect information during your visits to understand what differentiates you from each of our other users. We also may ask for personal information that enables us to give you access to “members only” areas within our web site. We will not disclose your information to any person outside our organization except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use by Family Front

Family Front collects member submitted information such as name, address, email and credit card information in order to register and authenticate members. Relevant information is shared with third parties (e.g., credit card processing companies) for the purposes of facilitating the Parent Learning Center. Your information is provided to these third parties solely for the purpose of providing you such services.

Family Front also uses this information to send notifications to members regarding various Family Front services available to its members. Family Front also collects other profile data including but not limited to marital status, parenting status, and other family information in an effort to meet the needs and wants of our members.

Family Front also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate member data, and browser type, from members and visitors to the site. This data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve the website services. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to members. Member IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.

Email addresses and other contact information of members is not shared or displayed to other members of the Parent Learning Center. Members communicate on the Parent Learning Center with each other through the use of the Forum. This is done without disclosure of identifiable information and with the use of a screen name chosen by the member. Family Front never discloses members' full names to other members. If full names are shared, it is only through the actions of the members themselves.

We may also use a member's email address to send updates, a newsletter or news regarding the service.

From time to time, Family Front or a partner, may sponsor a promotion, sweepstake or contest on Family Front. Members may be asked to provide personal information including name, email address or home address or to answer questions in order to participate. We may transfer personal information to certain ad partners that you have explicitly requested to receive information from. It will be clear at the point of collection who is collecting the personal information and whose privacy statement will apply.

Use of Cookies

Family Front uses cookies to store visitors' preferences and to record session information, for purposes including ensuring that visitors are not repeatedly offered the same advertisements and to customize newsletter, advertising, and Web page content based on browser type and member profile information. Changes in Our Privacy Policy

From time to time we may make changes to our privacy policy. If we make changes, we will post them on our site to make members aware of what the changes are so members will always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and when we may disclose it. A member is bound by any minor changes to the policy when she or he uses the site after those changes have been posted. If, however, we are going to use members' personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify by posting a notice on our Web site for 30 days.
